Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for a reliable and professional Caretaker to work across our vibrant organisation.

Hours: 7.4 hours per week (Friday 5.4 hours & Saturday 2 hours)
Duration: Permanent

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain clean, safe and welcoming communal areas and outdoor spaces.
  • Carry out cleaning, waste management and sanitisation duties.
  • Complete routine health & safety and compliance checks, reporting any issues identified.
  • Support contractors, residents, meetings and community activities within the scheme.
  • Monitor and report maintenance, security and customer wellbeing concerns.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while promoting dignity and respect at all times.
  • Weekend working is required as part of this role.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience in cleaning, caretaking or a similar role.
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Awareness of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to identify and report issues promptly.
  • Basic IT skills, or willingness to learn Microsoft Teams and mobile technology.
  • Flexibility will be required to work across six days, Monday to Saturday, including providing cover for colleagues where necessary.
